Meet a displaced person from the hero city of Chernihiv, and now a volunteer and part of our team - Anya
To better understand and feel what Anya and other residents of Chernihiv had to experience, we prepared a small interview with her:
"I have lived in Chernihiv for 11 years. From the first day of the war, for 16 days, my daughter and I have been hiding in the basement of a private house, where we ate and slept. In a word, we only went outside to take a breath of fresh air.
Our house was located on the outskirts of the city, just where the hell began. The scariest thing was hearing the news that the enemies were destroying the city. And every day such destruction grew more and more. We cooked food in a slow cooker, slept dressed and prayed.
We left the city in the middle of March. At that time, electricity, water and gas supply were cut off. And, thank God, we had the place to go. Kropyvnytskyi is my Motherland, my parents live here.
Little by little, I recovered from the experience and began to think about how I can help people like me. I was lucky to get to know the foundation “Fortechnyi” and become a part of their team."
We invite everyone willing to join the common charitable activity.
Volunteers, bloggers, and benefactors – we will be ready to everyone!
