“Are you alive? Are your nearest alive? Are you in relative safety? Then everything is OK.”

“Are you alive? Are your nearest alive? Are you in relative safety? Then everything is OK.”

Sounds like a monologue from a film. But it is our reality. The words of a director of one of the Chernihiv schools that suffered on the first day of the war.

School 1 (we cannot name the exact number)

“I tried to make everyone who came to school, to stay in a bombshell. The girl from the eight form was running in the school when everything started flying off, she was cut a bit”, - says the school director.

The woman staying on the first floor at that time also was injured: she remained without the upper eyelid, which had to be augmented, and the ear, which had to be reattached.

School 2 (we cannot name the exact number)

"There is no your classroom, no computer room, no teacher's office. At night, I imagined that there was nothing there at all," - such phone calls started the morning for the director of another school in Chernihiv.

Because of shelling, 126 windows in the school were broken, the roof over the sports hall was damaged, the slate above the main building was chipped and now the third floor is leaking.

And all these are not military facilities, not ammunition depots. These are ordinary schools where CHILDREN studied...

A part of it is currently under reconstruction, but another problem appeared: the heating and power supply system of educational and medical institutions in Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Sumy regions is damaged.

That is why CF "Fortechny" is currently raising funds for electric heaters and generators for schools, kindergartens and hospitals. There is little time left until winter, so any amount is important!
